Breathing Room

Every day is a surprise when I work with Larry Hutson and his motley crew at Partners, USA. This job was no different. It was round two of No Nonsense Panty Hose, only this time we were shooting on a stage in Hollywood.
It was right after lunch and the mood was a bit somber due to post-meal lethargy. But Animal Grip was about to change that. He comes waltzing onto the set from behind the cyc wall wearing his t-shirt and nothing but a pair of No Nonsense Panty Hose. With no fear (and no shame) he parades across the stage declaring, “I don’t see what’s so great about these, they’re not very comfortable.” To which, PL the Czech Camera Assistant proceeded to grab a fistful of nylon in the crotch area and with a pair of scissors, cut a big hole in between the legs of Animal’s panty hose. In mild relief Animal sighed gratefully and exclaimed, “Oh, that’s much better.” And paraded off the set.
This was all done in front of the entire crew, the agency and the client! But then, that’s how Animal rolls.
